Rich playboy Charley (Alec Baldwin) is engaged to Adele (Elisabeth Shue), the daughter of Hollywood executive Lew Horner (Robert Loggia). But at his bachelor party, Charley immediately falls for the bar's singer, Vicki (Kim Basinger). Off to bed they go, but her boyfriend, mobster Bugsy Seigel (Armand Assante), catches them in the act, and the adventures begin. This Neil Simon screenplay is based on the 1950s' love affair between Harry Karl and Marie McDonald who married each other four times while Marie still carried on an affair with Bugsy Seigel.
