  Billy Jack (Tom Laughlin) uses his karate skills to save the Freedom School on his Indian reservation. As a supporter of the school's founder Jean Roberts (Delores Taylor), Billy Jack suffers objections from the White people in town who psychologically and physically abuse the Indian kids. Matters rise to the fore when one of the kids is raped, and Billy loses control and seeks revenge, which results in him being sought on a charge of murder. This film, directed by and starring Tom Laughlin, cost a mere $800,000 to make and grossed $65 million!
