Based on the British series of the same name, widower billionaire and former astronaut Jeff Tracy (Bill Paxton) lives on an island with his five sons from which they stand ready to perform international rescues. At their disposal are: an orbiting space station, a rescue craft, a submarine, two rockets, and superspy Penelope Creighton-Ward (Sophia Myles). In this story, the family is on a rescue mission, but the youngest son Alan (Brady Corbet) has been left behind when the villainous Hood (Ben Kinglsey) arrives to take over the island. Will Alan be able to save the day?
