Genre: Comedy / Drama
Director: Mike Nichols

Jack Stanton (John Travolta) is running for the office of President of the United States; he is very intelligent but has a weakness: a lust for women. His wife Susan (Emma Thompson), on the other hand, seems to be able to look the other way and stand by her man! This film is a winner–Mike Nichols and Elaine May do it again as they put together an entertaining story that reflects real circumstances. Kathy Bates received an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
|They Went That-A-Way and That-A-Way 1978 PG, 95 min.|
Director: Stuart E. McGowan, Edward Montagne
Cast: Tim Conway, Chuck McCann, Dub Taylor, Reni Santoni, Richard Kiel, Lenny Montana, Ben Jones, Timothy Blake, Hank Worden, Joe Dorsey
Funny interplay between Dewey and Wallace (Tim Conway and Chuck McCann) is the only highlight in this otherwise poor film. They are cops who go undercover as convicts to find missing money. But, they are caught and sent to prison. Their problem: the only one who knew they are cops was the Governor, and he died.
