In Part 1, Emily, Louisa, and Caroline make their decisions regarding marriage, and Caroline's choice tears the family asunder. Part 2 involves the scandals of Sarah, and Part 3 revolves around the family drama spanning two generations.

While wandering in the hot Sahara sun, Augustin finds a leopard, which leads to a very strange bond.
