  Bill Reardon (Pierre Watkin) has willed his family's steel mill to either "Tons" Walker (Grant Withers) or to his playboy son, Bill Jr. (Ranny Weeks), with the provision that "Tons" will work with Bill Jr. for one year and convince him to change his ways. Professional as well as personal entanglements ensue, but when each becomes involved with each others' girlfriends (Beatrice Roberts and Judith Allen), antagonisms reach new heights, and lessons are learned by both "Tons" and Bill.

They find that Flash's enemy Ming the Merciless (Charles Middleton) is behind it, working from Mars. Then, there's Ming's ally Queen Azara (Beatrice Roberts), who has the power to turn people into clay.

They are reunited when two of them (William Gargan and John Gallaudet), now policemen, investigate a murder at Marty's club. After one is killed during the investigation, the fourth friend (Paul Kelly), now a priest, sees that justice is served.
