  In this version of Lewis Carroll's story, director Tim Burton changes the story from that of child Alice to 19-year-old Alice (Mia Wasikowska) who is unhappy about an arranged wedding that is planned for her, While the groom-to-be proposes, Alice is lured away by the White Rabbit (voice of Michael Sheen) and follows the White Rabbit down the rabbit hole. Now, the creatures question Alice at a tea party and want reassurance that she is the same Alice who visited them before. They believe that she is the same Alice whose destiny is to slay the dragon Jabberwock and overthrow the wicked Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter) so that the well-loved White Queen (Anne Hathaway) can rule once again.    1 User Review

  Tim Burton creates an entirely different look on Alice In Wonderland while keeping the key essentials in view. A world of unimaginable events is created in this movie, giving the viewer something to oooh and aaah about. One of my all-time favorite movies of the new year! Hazaah! to Tim Burton!
