Along their trek, they discover Dr. Robert Hoak (Kevin McCarthy) at an abandoned military facility where he is raising flesh-eating piranhas. Maggie and Paul accidentally release the piranhas, and they are swimming downstream where a children's camp and resort are located. Now, Maggie and Paul race to save the humans from the deadly piranhas. There is a sequel.

Instead of reporting Basini to school authorities, Bineberg and Reiting turn him into their victim by humiliating and abusing him both physicially and psychologically. Another student, Thomas Torless (Mathieu Carriere), witnesses the cruelty and, when he has had enough, reports his classmates. But in the end, it is Torless, not the perpetrators, who is told to leave the school.
