"Mirror, Mirror" (aired 10/6/1967, stardate unknown)-An ion storm during a beaming process causes the transporter–with Kirk, Uhuru, McCoy, and Scotty on board–to be thrown into an alternate universe that is dominated by an empire based on fear and force. They "land" on the imperial starship Enterprise, which has crew members that look like Kirk's crew. Meanwhile, doubles of Kirk and party are sent to replace them on the real Enterprise. There's no way they can get out of this mess–or is there? "The Deadly Years" (aired 12/8/1967, stardate 3478.2)-On the way to Starbase 10 with the new starbase commander on board, the Enterprise stops at a planet to deliver supplies. While on the planet, the landing party–which includes Kirk and Spock–is subjected to dangerous radiation that results in a fast aging process. Now the exposed personnel are getting too old to run the ship, so the passenger takes command. He has no field experience and immediately heads into danger. Can something be done to save everyone?
