But, it's not all that great.

Now, eight years after David discovered his gift, he is living the good life–until Roland appears in David's living room armed with gyzmos to immobilize him. Roland is unsuccessful, and David escapes. He reconnects with childhood friend Millie (Rachel Bilson) and takes her to Rome. While visiting Rome, he meets another "jumper" Griffin (Jamie Bell), and David learns that he is not alone and that he is in the middle of a war between "jumpers" and "paladins." Both mother and daughter suffer from alcohol and drug addiction and make separate attempts to reconcile themselves with their fates. Streep was nominated for a Best Actress Oscar.

She travels to Seattle to meet Sam but then changes her mind. Meanwhile, Jonah has booked a flight to New York to meet Annie. Sam follows his son, and finally meets Annie in the observation area of the Empire State Building where love blooms. A nice, sweet, romantic comedy.
