As the second part of a trilogy based on the French tricolor flag, this is the story of a divorce and how the ex-husband Karol (Zbigniew Zamachowski) seeks revenge against his ex-wife Dominique (Julie Delpy). Karol has been left with nothing after the divorce, but his luck does change, and he amasses a fortune. He is still haunted by memories of Dominique when he comes up with his plot in which he stages his disappearance, and a series of unique events ensue.
