  William Golding's novel about a group of boys trapped on an island and their subsequent struggle for survival is updated to the present. Ralph (Balthazar Getty) leads one group and rationalizes a way to escape from the island. Meanwhile, Jack (Chris Furrh) and his followers resort to savage behavior as they hunt for pigs to eat and then turn to killing people. Living together proves impossible, and the boys end up fighting each other for survival.

Very weird, as we follow Fred into his new adventures with a gangster's moll (Patricia Arquette).

The killer wears a Ronald Reagan mask, brandishes an ax, and chops up the hippies, which, needless to say, accounts for plenty of blood and gore in this film.
