American pilot Colonel Charles "Chappy" Sinclair (Louis Gossett Jr.) is back. This time, he and another American pilot, Captain Matt Cooper (Mark Humphrey), join forces with Russian pilots at a base in India where they plan a combined assault on a missile base in the Middle East. As they begin to put their plan together, Chappy learns that someone in the Pentagon plans to sabotage their top-secret mission. But, with Chappy's expert guidance and training, the teams successfully carry out the mission.
