  Dreyfuss/Hunter at their best.
Interestingly I would have thought that these two would have starred in more movies together, because they obviously have a connection which shows in the movie.
I love Holly Hunter in this movie. She is a classy actor.

Later, they meet again, and Frank still does not know Ariane's true identity but is intrigued and falling in love with her. Andrei returns home and falls in love with Natasha but returns to the battlefield and is critically wounded. Pierre witnesses the carnage and vows to kill Napoleon. The French are finally beaten, and, by story's end, Pierre is reunited with Natasha. King Vidor received an Oscar nomination for his directing.
