This story follows one week in the lives of three New York police officers who are having trouble dealing with the pressures of their professional and personal lives. Another officer is Clarence "Tango" Butler (Don Cheadle), an undercover narcotics cop, who finds himself leaning toward protecting drug dealer Caz (Wesley Snipes). The third officer is financially struggling Sal (Ethan Hawke) whose pregnant wife is at risk of losing the twins she is carrying. Their lives converge as destiny awaits during NYPD's Operation Clean Up's work targeting BK housing project, which is located in the highest crime precinct.
