Later, he learns that he has bought a circus and brings a circus lion, Jackie the Lion, with him when he visits bankers offering them the chance to buy the circus.

  Rodeo star Roy Rogers (played by himself) has quit the rodeo and become a rancher. Sam's daughter, Sue (Sheila Ryan), is living in the East and decides to visit her father. Sue believes that Sam owns the ranch, and big problems lie ahead when Roy helps Sam try to fool her by pretending that Sam does own the ranch. Songs include "Moonlight and Roses," "Mexicali Rose," and Rainbow Over the Range."
