Confessions: Two Faces of Evil 1994 TV, 90 min. Genre: Mystery
Director: Gilbert Cates Cast: Jason Bateman, James Wilder, James Earl Jones, William Converse-Roberts, Arye Gross, Gloria Reuben, Melinda Dillon, Rex Linn, Ari Meyers, Basil Wallace
It is Christmas Eve and a policeman is murdered. In this made-for-TV film based on a real-life incident, two men come forward to confess to the slaying. One has a criminal background and the other is a college student with no criminal record; both confessions hang together well. So-so fare despite the good work of James Earl Jones as a defense attorney.
