They meet under the Sphinx in Egypt, and Caesar teaches Cleopatra about politics and how to behave like a queen. But, despite Caesar's attentions, Cleopatra yearns for Marc Antony who is far away in Rome.

  Love and hate are exhibited in this excellent movie showing how decisions were made concerning the throne of England. Katharine Hepburn won the Academy Award for Best Actress, and Peter O'Toole was also good in his portrayal of an aging Henry II. There were two other Oscars (Best Writing and Musical Score) and four nominations, including Best Picture, Actor, and Director.

Her name just happens to be "Dr. Watson," and she becomes intrigued with Justin leading to further complications. This film was remade for TV as "The Return of the World's Greatest Detective."
