That man/fly hybrid BrundleFly Seth Brum (Jeff Goldblum) was a research scientist who was shot to death by his pregnant girlfriend in the first film, "The Fly" (1986). The girlfriend dies giving birth to their son, Martin, who is raised by Seth's evil boss Anton Bartok (Lee Richardson). Now, Martin (Eric Stoltz), who matures five times faster than a normal kid, is fully grown and, as a boy genius, is dreading his metamorphosis. His girlfriend Beth (Daphne Zuniga) helps him look for a way to cure himself, and answers lying within the Telepod appear to be the only chance he has of saving himself from a terrible fate.
