After gang member Bruno (Jeremie Renier) and his 18-year-old girlfriend, Sonia (Deborah Francois), have a baby, Bruno sees a chance to make money by selling the baby through an illegal adoption market. In the nick of time, Bruno realizes the repercussions wrought by his actions and reneges on the deal. But, now he has another set of problems to deal with from the baby traders.
