Problems develop, and Mike is forced to impersonate Marcus and move in with Marcus' wife Theresa (Theresa Randle) and family. Meanwhile, Marcus moves into Mike's bachelor pad. While on the trail of the loot, Julie is kidnapped by Fouchet. Car chases ensue amidst Marcus' and Mike's bantering.

The Schofield Kid ((Jaimz Woolvett) arrives on the scene and convinces Munny to come to the prostitute's aid and collect the bounty money. Munny joins up with his neighbor Ned Logan (Morgan Freeman), and they head to Big Whiskey to right the wrongs done to the prostitutes and end the rule of the corrupt sheriff. The film won the Academy Award for Best Picture, Clint Eastwood won for Best Director, and Gene Hackman won for Best Supporting Actor. Eastwood was also nominated for Best Actor.
