  Poet Francois Villon (John Barrymore) is the hero in this story about political intrigue in 15th-century France. Villon is sent into exile by King Louis XI (Conrad Veidt) after Villon insults Duke Charles of Burgundy (Lawson Butt). While escaping the clutches of Charles, Villon falls in love with the king's ward, Charlotte (Marceline Day). Later, Charles' men kidnap Charlotte, but when their evil deeds are revealed, the king bestows his blessing on Charlotte and Villon.

  King Amir, the leader of an Arab country, appears doomed to die. But not to worry, mad Doctor Trenton (Kent Taylor) has a new technique to transplant brains. When the King is brought in, time is limited to complete the job, so when an appropriate recipient isn't found quickly, Trenton transplants Amir's brain onto the body of his grotesque assistant. When Amir awakens and looks at his new body, he goes on a rampage. And there's even more weird stuff going on in the basement, and elsewhere, in this, another low-budget film from Director Adamson.

  This film brings together J. Carrol Naish as Dr. Frankenstein and Lon Chaney Jr. as Frankenstein's mute assistant Groton in their final film. Judith (Regina Carrol) is searching for her missing sister who, it turns out, has been killed by Groton. Frankenstein is running a house of horrors and experiments on Groton's victims. Judith teams up with Mike (Anthony Eisley) in the search for her sister. Meanwhile, Count Dracula (Zandor Vorkov) unites with Dr. Frankenstein to bring back the monster and ensure a good supply of blood. They succeed, Judith and Mike are confronted by the monster, and a deadly battle ensues.

  Mad Max (Mel Gibson) has been roaming the Australian desert when he arrives in Bartertown, which is ruled by Aunt Entity (Tina Turner). Aunt Entity wants to get rid of her competing overlord Master (Angelo Rossitto) who rides on the back of Blaster (Paul Larsson). Aunt Entity forces Max to fight Blaster in the Thunderdome arena, and, when Max refuses to kill Blaster, he is banished into a sand storm. A band of tribal teens and children rescues Max, and he agrees to help them find their Tomorrow Morrow Land–a feat that will require saving them from the desert and from Aunt Entity. Lots of adventures lie in wait.

Later, the kids see Muggsy walking around in a trance and think that Nardo has turned him into a zombie. But, is Nardo a monster-killer, or is he simply a magician–only the horrors experienced within the walls of the old mansion will reveal the answer.
