Once a mob runner, Jack Bruno (Dwayne Johnson) is now happy to be out of the business and driving a cab in Las Vegas. Jack thinks there is something peculiar about Sara and Seth but takes the money and sets out on the trek. It turns out that Sara and Seth are space aliens trying to reach Witch Mountain where their space ship awaits. But, the trip will not be easy and will involve black cars chasing them with government agents, led by Henry Burke (Ciaran Hinds), and even an alien assassin in hot pursuit.
