  Lord Edward Whitman (Vincent Price) leads a witch-hunt and massacres many witches. Their leader, Oona (Elisabeth Bergner), then puts a curse on Whitman and his entire family. Using her occult powers, Oona summons a demon that takes the form of Roderick (Patrick Mower) who then takes the job of stable boy working for the Whitman family. Roderick falls in love with Whitman's daughter Maureen (Hilary Heath), which sets off tragic events involving both the witches and the Whitman family, and Oona gets her revenge.

  Based on the Robert Louis Stevenson story, this is the tale of a young Scottish orphan, David Balfour (Lawrence Douglas), who arrives at his wicked uncle Ebeneezer's (Donald Pleasence) home. David does not know that he is the heir to the family fortune, and Ebineezer arranges for Captain Hoseason (Jack Hawkins) to kidnap David and take him aboard his ship to be sold into slavery. David is rescued and becomes friends with Alan Breck (Michael Caine). They make it to land and set out to Edinburgh to fight for David's inheritance and the forces of King George who have been sent to his Scottish highlands.

Together, they discover the lost land of Caprona where dinosaurs still roam. There is a sequel: "The People That Time Forgot."
