They then dump him at a police station where he quits the heroin by the "Cold Turkey" method, recovers, and is back on the job tracking down the drug dealers.

  "The Stranger" (Charles Bronson) is an amnesiac who was found disoriented on a beach with the body of a dead woman. Jeffries takes the Stranger home, hypnotizes him, and gives him instructions to kill Jeffries' wife Frances (Jill Ireland) and her lover Paul (Henri Garcin). The Stranger, in his hypnotized state, sets off to do the killings, but will Jeffries change the plans before both are killed?
