Eva aids in her husband's political success when he is elected President of Argentina. The beautiful Eva begins a charity to help the poor people of Argentina, and she gains supporters as well as enemies before her death from cancer in 1952. "You Must Love Me" won an Oscar for Best Song. The film received four additional nominations.
