After his media magnate father James (Tom Wilkinson) dies under mysterious circumstances, playboy Britt Reid (Seth Rogen) decides to use his wealth to fight crime with Kato (Jay Chou), and they set out on their mission. Brit becomes the Green Hornet as he and Kato arm their indestructable car, "The Black Beauty," with high-tech weaponry and become masked vigilantes. With help from Britt's secretary Lenore Case (Cameron Diaz), they hunt down L.A.'s underworld chief Benjamin Chudnofsky (Chrostoph Waltz)–a job that will not prove easy.
