The singing chipmunks are adopted by struggling song-writer Dave Seville (Jason Lee) and become a famous rock band singing his songs. Now, greedy record producer Ian (David Cross) lures the chipmunks away from Dave to make money for himself in their future. But, in the process of changing their act, he is destroying them both mentally and physically. Will Dave be able to step in and save the day?
