  Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) is back in this sequel to the first movie. When Axel learns that Captain Andrew Bogomil (Ronny Cox) had been shot, he heads back to Beverly Hills and visits Bogomil in the hospital. Again, he teams up with Detective Billy Rosewood and Sergeant John Taggart (Judge Reinhold and John Ashton). Now Axel is up against arms dealer Maxwell Dent (Jurgen Prochnow) who has made the mistake of sending Karla Fry (Brigitte Nielsen) to shoot Bogomil. Lots of guns and action.
