Director: John Landis
Cast: Eddie Murphy, Dan Aykroyd, Don Ameche, Ralph Bellamy, Denholm Elliott, Paul Gleason, Jamie Lee Curtis, James Belushi, Al Franken, Frank Oz, Robert Curtis Brown, Giancarlo Esposito, Bill Cobbs, Bo Diddley, Philip Bosco

  Just like in "The Prince and the Pauper," this movie goes with the premise of a rich man, Louis Winthorpe III (Dan Aykroyd)–this time, a Philadelphia commodity broker–changing places with a poor man, Billy Ray Valentine (Eddie Murphy), who is a con-artist. The Duke brothers–Randolph and Mortimer (Ralph Bellamy and Don Ameche) make a bet on whether or not Louis will resort to crime when he loses his position in life. Throw in lots of good comedy, and you have a film worth watching.

When a Man Loves a Woman   1994     2 and a half stars  User Rating      R, 124 min.
Genre: Drama
Director: Luis Mandoki
Cast: Meg Ryan, Andy Garcia, Ellen Burstyn, Tina Majorino, Lauren Tom, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Mae Whitman, LaTanya Richardson, Eugene Roche, Gail Strickland, Susanna Thompson, Al Franken

  Finally, alcoholism is portrayed as what it is–an illness and NOT a personality flaw. Meg Ryan plays Alice Green, wife, mother, and alcoholic, who hits her low point and recovery begins. The message is great, but there's not much entertainment value.    1 User Review

  the movie was fantastic; the meaning was so much more than her being an alcoholic; it was also about how an person can really have true love for someone to see them thru their toughess times; Meg Ryan was fantastic in the part she played, and Andy was the perfect understanding, husband, and father; I love this movie;
