In one segment, Marv (Mickey Rourke) is in love with prostitute Goldie (Jaime King) but finds her murdered by demon cannibal Kevin (Elijah Wood). Another segment, involves cop Hartigan (Bruce Willis) doing everything in his power to save stripper Nancy (Jessica Alba) from being raped by the murdering "Yellow Bastard" (Nick Stahl). And, then there is photographer Dwight (Clive Owen) who tangles with corrupt cop Jackie Boy (Benicio Del Toro) only to find himself in the middle of a mess involving dangerous ladies of Sin City who are led by Gail (Rosario Dawson). Great special effects.

Dilemmas are a big part of their lives and include Bridget's estrangement from her grandmother (Blythe Danner) and depression over her mother's suicide and Lena dealing with her ex-boyfriend's (Michael Rady) marriage. Meanwhile, Carmen is having trouble dealing with her mother's (Rachel Ticotin) pregnancy and the family moving. Finally, Tibby and her boyfriend Brian (Leonardo Nam) are taking a new look at their relationship. But, through all of life's problems, the sisterhood bond remains intact.

It seems that the Tucks, in the middle 1800s, drank from a nearby spring, which proved to be a fountain of youth. Now, in 1914, family members look and feel as they did 80 years ago, and Winnie must decide if she, too, wants immortality.
