Gold is hidden in a graveyard, and Blondie "the Good" (Clint Eastwood), Angel Eyes "the Bad" (Lee Van Cleef), and Tuco "the Ugly" (Eli Wallach) are searching for the missing $200,000 in gold that they were told about by a dying man (Antonio Casale). Tuco is told the name of the cemetery, and Blondie is given the name on the grave. Now, each knows half of the secret, and they must work together to find the gold.
