Douglas has learned a lesson and questions whether his act of private lynching is any better than that of murder.

Bill Murray plays the groundskeeper who fights a losing battle against gophers, and Ted Knight is great as the scatter-brained club president in this silly, but entertaining, film. Dangerfield steals the show.

But, Ulrich's abilities fail him, and it rests on Galen to confront the dragon and enter into a vicious battle. The special effects are great.

A preacher (William Shatner) and a prospector (Howard Da Silva) tell the story–shown through flashbacks–to a con-man (Edward G. Robinson) while they wait at a train station, and finally the truth is revealed.

Now, in1865, amidst post-Civil War tensions, there are conflicts between the Kiowa and the Texas ranchers, and the Kiowa tribe tries to retrieve Rachel from the Zachary family. Racial prejudice plays a large role in the lessons of this tale.
