When Tex (Tex Ritter) is accused of murdering one of the settlers, Ames (Del Lawrence), whose daughter Suzanna (Wanda McKay) he has been romancing, Tex escapes the lynching. He then rejoins Slim, wagon train leader Red (Red Foley), and Doye (Doye O'Dell) to foil Carson's evil plot. They succeed, and Suzanna joins Tex on a wagon train headed to the intended land at Beaver Creek.

Tex escapes and sends for help from the Rangers who come to the rescue and arrest the rustlers.
