Based on the premise that luck is a commodity and that for one person to be lucky, another must be unlucky, this twisted tale involves the search by Federico (Eusebio Poncela) to find a man as lucky as he once was before his luck was transferred to Sam (Max von Sydow). He finds Tomas (Leonardo Sbaraglia), and, together, they use Tomas' luck to compete against Sam.
