To make their house a home and protect the property, Joe joins forces with the other tenants who elect him president of the "co-op." Joe is asked to evict long-time squatter Carlos DeJesus (Paul Calderon) who has lived in the building longer than anyone else. But, Joe's attempts at mediation meet with little success.
