When repair contractor Lucky arrives at Marianne and Jeffrey's apartment, Marianne becomes the object serviced. Meanwhile, Jeffrey finds comfort in Lucky's wife Phyllis who is only too happy to take on the mother role for Jeffrey. Julie Christie received a Best Actress Oscar nomination.
