  Newlyweds Barbara (Lynda Day George) and Larry (John Saxon) move into an island mansion that has been vacant for 100 years. The last occupant, black-magic practitioner Alma (Janice Lynde), had made a pact with the devil and, after being murdered by her husband, came back to deal with him. Now, Alma continues her evil by possessing an occupant of the house.
