What Larry knows is that those exhibits come to life at night, and when he gets an S.O.S. call from cowboy Jed (Owen Wilson), Larry races to the Smithsonian. Once there, Larry learns that Egyptian pharaoh Kahmunrah (Hank Azaria) has come back to life and is seeking to dominate the world. And the battles rage as Teddy Roosevelt (Robin Williams), General Custer (Bill Hader), and Amelia Earhart (Amy Adams) fight the evil forces of Ivan the Terrible (Christopher Guest) and Napoleon (Alain Chabat). Great special effects.

Meanwhile, Clara's friend Manie (Agnes Jaoui) begins a romance with Castella's dyed-in-the-wool bachelor chauffeur, Bruno (Alain Chabat), before switching over to Castella's bodyguard, Franck Moreno (Gerard Lanvin). A very good romantic comedy. The film received an Academy Award nomination for Best Foreign Film.
