But–the visitors have a motive: get rid of Godzilla and have their own monster, King Ghidorah, wreak havoc on Japan because Japan has become the economic power on Earth in the 23 century. But Godzilla is still out there, and the battle begins.

The Cosmos call Mothra to fight back, but Godzilla also awakens, and the three-way battle for Earth begins.
