  This is the film famous for the fact that all of the stars of the film would die of cancer, believed to have been caused (at least in part) by nearby nuclear bomb testing by the government. This is a film that should never have been made and certainly not "on location."

  For those of us who actually saw this movie would know that it was one of the best Frankenstein movies that was ever made. Too bad I can't find it in VHS or DVD.

Jane convinces Rochester that her reason for returning is love, not pity, and he returns her affections.

But, Gaylord's gambling will prove to be a big problem–until he cleans up his act and returns to Magnolia and their baby daughter. Song standards, such as "Old Man River" (sung beautifully by William Warfield), "Bill," and "Make Believe" make this an enjoyable film.
