Despite suffering from hyperglycemia, Paul Blart (Kevin James) hopes to become a New Jersey State cop. At the present time, he works as a mall security guard where he meets the woman of his dreams, kiosk salesgirl Amy (Jayma Mays). His wife has deserted him, and Paul finds his self-esteem through his responsibilities at the mall. On Black Friday, thieves invade the mall, rob stores, and take hostages–including Amy and also Paul's young daughter, Maya (Raini Rodriguez). What the gang of thieves does not know is that Paul is still inside the mall. Will he be able to get it all together and save the day?
