After Paris, Egypt, and some U.S. cities are devastated by a giant storm that now appears headed to Washington, D.C., discredited scientist Faith Clavell (Shannen Doherty), storm chaser Tommy Tornado (Randy Quaid), and FEMA director Judith Carr (Gina Gershon) venture into the eye of the storm to collect important data. Meanwhile, a pair of televangelists (James Brolin and Swoosie Kurtz) uses the storm as a Biblical curse to make a point of their own. Will this storm mark the end of the world?
