  French photographer Marion (Julie Delpy) and American interior designer Jack (Adam Goldberg) are returning from a vacation in Venice during which more than a few things went wrong–including gastroenteritis. They stop over in Paris to visit Marion's parents (Delpy's real-life parents Daniel Bruhl and Marie Pillet) before returning to the U.S., and the vacation continues its downhill trend with more than a few cultural misunderstandings between Marion's parents and Jack. The vacation has proved to be a nightmare, but will Marion and Jack be mature enough to handle the stress?

They fall in love and marry, but problems follow when Nash's paranoid schizophrenia sets in leading to years of illness with loyal Alicia standing by him in good times and bad. The film's four Academy Awards included Best Picture, Director, and Supporting Actress (Jennifer Connelly). Four additional nominations were received, including Crowe for Best Actor.

The FBI provides Carlin with a top-secret surveillance machine that allows him to look through a time window and observe events that took place four days and six hours ago. Carlin watches events in the life of Claire Kuchever (Paula Patton) whose body was found in the ferry wreckage. Carlin knows that Claire had been murdered previously before the ferry explosion, and now, events heat up as Carlin watches, tries to save Claire from being murdered, and falls in love with her in the process.

Eight comrades, led by Capt. John H. Miller (Tom Hanks), set off on the dangerous mission of finding that fourth brother, Private Ryan (Matt Damon), and sending him home and out of harm's way. Spielberg won his second Director Oscar, and nominations included Best Picture and Actor (Tom Hanks). In all, the film won five Oscars and was nominated for six others.

Loomis' sister gives the game disk to Hutch (Jon Foster) who invites his friends (Jimmi Simpson, Samarie Armstrong, Sophia Bush, and Frankie Muniz) to come to his loft and play the game. Hutch's boss, Miller Bates (Adam Goldberg) joins in the game playing remotely from his office. The next day, Miller is found dead–murdered in the same manner he was killed in the game. Now, the four survivors realize that they must uncover the game's secret become they become victims.
