Teenage nerd Napoleon Dynamite (Jon Heder) lives in Preston, Idaho, with Grandma (Sandy Martin) and his older brother, Kip (Aaron Ruell). Surrounding Napoleon are a cast of off-beat characters–including Pedro (Efren Ramirez) and weird Uncle Rico (Jon Gries). Pedro is a new kid in school who has become Napoleon's best friend, so when Pedro runs for class president against popular, but nasty, Summer (Haylie Duff), Napoleon comes to his aid.
