  Dre (Taye Diggs) and Sidney (Sanaa Lathan) have been good friends since they were children and share a love for rap music. Dre is a record executive and is now engaged to Reese (Nicole Ari Parker). Meanwhile, Sidney is engaged to professional basketball player Kelby (Boris Kodjoe).
