 This version of the Jonathan Swift classic tale is entertaining, as the shipwrecked Gulliver (Kerwin Mathews) ends up in the small, small world of the Lilliputians followed by visiting the land of Brobdignag, home of the giants. Most of Swift's biting satire is missing, though some is retained. The young ones should like it.

 In this version of Mark Twain's story, Huckleberry Finn (Eddie Hodges) escapes from his brutal alcoholic father, Pap (Neville Brand), and joins runaway slave Jim (Archie Moore) on a rafting trip down the Mississippi River. Along the way, they meet con-men "King" and "Duke" (Tony Randall and Mickey Shaughnessy) who find work on a riverboat and join the circus–neither the riverboat nor the circus were in Twain's book. Reluctantly, Huckleberry and Jim are drawn into the schemes of "King" and "Duke."

Great musical score by Dimitri Tiomkin, and the final attack is a real spectacle. Several Oscar nominations were received with one winner: Best Sound. Nominations included Best Picture and Supporting Actor (Chill Wills).

When Hercules (Mickey Hargitay) heads to a Grecian land to take revenge on the gad guys who killed his people, he finds that he must deal with the above monsters to save the queen by defeating the Amazon leader.

 This story begins when the slave, Spartacus (Kirk Douglas), is sold to Biatus (Peter Ustinov). During his subsequent training as a gladiator, Spartacus leads the other slaves in a rebellion, and they make their way to southern Italy. Meanwhile in Rome, two senators–Crassus (Laurence Olivier) and Gracchus (Charles Laughton)–envision the slave revolt as their keys to power. But, the interference from Crassus and Gracchus does not deter Spartacus and the slaves from their march to freedom. Peter Ustinov won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, and Russell Metty won for Best Cinematography. There were two other Academy Awards (Best Art Direction/Set Decoration and Costume Design) and a nomination for Best Musical Score.
