Now, they face days and nights fighting from the trenches and realize that fighting for their country is not what they had once believed it would be. The film won Academy Awards for Best Picture and Director.

The film won Academy Awards for Best Sound and Writing; Beery was nominated for Best Actor and the film was nominated for Best Picture.

A fellow grad becomes a member of the German air wing and takes part in bombing runs to England. The storyline is weak, but the action makes up for it. This film launched Jean Harlow on her career.
